So it's day one of hurricane Dolly's wrath, and i feel down and out, so i think i'll put on my sunday clothes.
as some of you may have guessed, this entry will be filled with allusions to the musical.
so far we've only had moderate rain, tornado warnings and scattered showers, but nothing serious.
a few hours ago, dolly was mostly green on the radar, but look at the old girl now, fellas! redder than a firecrotch on st. patrick's day.
i have already gathered everything i own that's irreplaceable into my bag, but i want to back p all my files on this computer.
it only takes a moment to be sucked into a hurricane.
*update! i have recently learned of a few file hosting websites that host things for free...
this opens u some interesting new possibilities-- for one thing podcasts, for another, e-books! now i can host e-books on the site! so look forward to that feature.*
in other news, i have confirmation that my application to shriver medical center was received on not one, but two fronts. on top of that, a stopgap employer i applied to called me back today, but i was busy, so unfortunately i was unable to talk for very long.
i'm going to try to do some writing today. something's brewing in here; i can feel it!
so, baring annihilation, further updates as conditions worsten!
